Heaven forbid I'd actually update my deviantart at all. After a long time of not being motivated to write, I decided that I need to resort to a more school-like schedule to force me to sit and stare at a blank document file until words magically appear. So I'm not writing what I really want to write about, like my Guylus story, but at least I'll be in practice for when the motivation finally does hit.

For anyone who see me on AIM or in person, if it's 5:00 PM EST/EDT, and I'm not writing, harrass me until I'm writing. That's my chosen "bore myself into creation" time every day. No vacations, no weekends, no days off. Even if I'm sick, if I'm not writing at least for a little while, I need to be. No games, no movies, no TV. I have to write for AT LEAST one half hour every day, and preferably more. Right now, I'm on day two of this schedule thing, and I managed to write for an hour this time. Too bad it doesn't take an hour to read it.

In other news, I value people who talk to me. They give me ideas far more often than I give myself ideas. If you want me to write about something, tell me. Chances are I won't think of anything better to write about. Whether it's fiction, non fiction, poetry, plays (as much as I hate that form, I'm better at it than fiction if only because it's easier to write dialogue), or even technical stuff, feel free to say "Dude, write about this, it'd be neat-o."
